CPI = Σ(weight × price index)
Inflation = [(current CPI − previous CPI) / previous CPI] × 100
Contribution = weight × percentage price change

The 2024-based CPI uses weights from Household Expenditure Survey 2023, updated to 2024 values. The basket covers about 6,800 brands/varieties from about 4,500 outlets.

SingStat latest data page reported All Items CPI 2025 = 100.9 and Apr 2026 = 102.1 using 2024 as base year. These are included as optional reference figures.
